AWARD : Guide Hachette 2019 Bronze Medal Bordeaux 2018 In July 2015 we acquire 7 hectares of a new vineyard “Château Bellevue”, the AOC Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux in the Gallo-Roman vil- lage of Plassac.
TASTING NOTES Intense strong purple color. The first impression on the nose, before swirling in the glass, is both deep and an explosion of fruit flavors. The wine is very intense on the palate. The after taste is remarkably fresh, clean and mineral.
AGED 13 MONTHS IN AMPHORA The fermentations are made in 120 year old congret tanks then the wine is aged 13 months in Amphora. Our 26 amphorae of 140 liters are made of clay in south of France.
FOOD PAIRING 2016 « Amphorae » Cuvée is excellent with beef, lamb, grilled veal and poultry. Other good accompaniments are: complex and spices dishes. It is also to fresh and fruit you could enjoy it just by the glace before diner.
