This wine has won the Guide Hachette des Vins 1 star
award for the 2017 vintage.
The Corton hill lies to the North of the end of the Côte d
de Nuits where vines mingle with stone quarries. The
vineyards form a kind of amphitheater which is not
found elsewhere in the Côte. On the Southern side of the
appellation, the dark soils are made up of limestone
debris while those on the Northern side, the soils are
mainly pebbly. The wines are smooth and distinguished.
Always with this attention to detail, our harvests are
entirely done by hand to select only the healthiest berries.
We vinify in the traditional way and all our wines are
then aged in French oak barrels, for 12 months for the
whites and up to 18 months for the reds.
We prefer a low percentage of new barrels, about 10%,
which allows us to express the full potential and finesse of
our terroirs.
