VARIETY: 100% Tempranillo.
WINEMAKING: These vineyards have an average age of 20 years, with
yields of approximately 5800 Kg/Ha; the grapes are harvested by hand.
Fermented at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, it undergoes
long pre-fermentative macerations for the intense extraction of color and
aromas.
After malolactic fermentation, it is aged for at least eight months in French
oak barrels. These are new and of large volume (400 and 500 liters), to
preserve all the fruity aroma.
TASTING
COLOUR: High robe, clean, bright. Cardinals in a thin layer that still
denote its full youth.
AROMA: High intensity. Quickly shows its full aromatic potential, forest
fruits (blackberries, red currant, raspberry), and the wood is very well
integrated into the fruit. Very clean tertiary notes, cocoa, coffee, spicy
touches (cloves, black pepper).
MOUTH: Perfect balance between acidity and volume. Elegant, fleshy, and
long. The fruit/wood tannin ratio is gentle, giving elegant touches of sweet
tannins. The finish is powerful, round, and velvety.
